As a local mortgage broker, I know a thing or two about the importance of quality service, and Meze Greek Fusion is the definition of it. If you want a dining experience that combines five-star flavors with first-rate service, this is the place. Our server was nothing short of spectacular, checking on us with the perfect balance of attentiveness and friendliness. She didn’t just take care of our table—she made us feel welcome, comfortable, and truly looked after. And Patrick, the manager, is the heart of it all. This guy greets you like an old friend every time, adding that extra touch that makes you feel right at home. And let’s talk food! I had the lamb chops (again), and let me tell you, they’re never anything less than amazing. Perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection—it’s the kind of meal that keeps you coming back. This place nails it every single time. So, if you’re looking for a place where service and quality come standard, look no further than Meze Greek Fusion. Whether you're visiting or a San Diego local like me, this place will make you feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Mezé is a fantastic venue to host an event at. My team bought out the restaurant for a dinner and I can't say enough good things about the space and the staff/planners.

I've been eating here for over 10 years. Inflation has always been a thing, but thankfully the Meze Greek has still held onto to its quality food, friendly service, and at decent prices. Ambience and architecture: this is probably the sexiest Greek restaurant in San Diego...perhaps all of America actually. And Greece...I spent a week there once. Despite the crazy crowds of Comic Con, I wisely made a reservation a week in advance, so the 4 of us were seated promptly with little wait! Waitress was still energetic, professional, and friendly. $25 Gyro Plate...I know this is generic Greek, but it was a generous portion of that salty, meaty, moist, seasoned mixed meat that we all love. Came with some nice rice, veggies, pita, and yogurt sauce. $28 Salmon Plate...fresh salmon perfectly roasted, came with some nice rice, veggies, pita, and yogurt sauce. I'll be back!

The food selection was amazing. The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding as well. I look forward to visiting this location the next time I am in San Diego. The lemonade was fantastic.

Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. We experienced not a conform whenever we asked for some additional sauce on side or just asking a simple question. While I highly recommend the food, I hope the service improves in the future to match the culinary excellence. Thank you

Beautiful local experience downtown San Diego. Many great options to choose from. I ordered from the Hot Mezes section: Gyro, and I was expecting a tiny portion since it wasn't an entree, but the portion was filling. We also ordered Meze fries and the Greek salad, which did not disappoint. I will be coming back again. Highly recommend.

You cannot go wrong with anything on the mezes menu, but ESPECIALLY the shrimp ouzu! Trust me! With it being so close to the ball park, it's great for some pre-game drinks and eats, but it's a wonderful place to take a date or a group of friends. Generally, a very well-rounded location and restaurant.

Found this while on a food tour, but then had to come back for more. Excellent and delicious food and drinks. The Sangria was our favorite, but also loved a couple of the other cocktails we tried. We had the Greek quesadilla with was amazing and a the Gyro appetizer which was tasty and easy to share as it came ready to assemble. Fresh, yummy tzatziki sauce was good, but I liked the house-made hot sauce even more.

Meze will have a very special place in my memories of San Diego. The atmosphere pulls you in, even when it wasn't busy yet. Airy, open floor concept with a big bar, comfy chairs and booths (I took the booth), Greek decor and warm colors make you feel at home, but I've seen it busy after 6pm and it's hopping! The service was a bit slow at the beginning, but quickly escalated to perfection. I had the lemon and rice chicken soup and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. I normally prefer thicker, darker soup base, but as light and zesty this one was, it was also full of flavor and not too 'lemony'. The main course was a shrimp 'salad' with a bang. Literally, they set it on fire tableside, and you can enjoy the crunch of the shrimp and delicious mix of vegetables with perfectly grilled pita bread. I topped it off with one of better (but not yet the best) bread puddings with ice cream. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town!

I recently dined at Meze Greek Fusion, and it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a cozy dinner or a fun night out with friends. The menu is a fantastic blend of traditional Greek dishes and innovative twists. I highly recommend the spanakopita and the lamb gyro—both were bursting with flavor! The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Don't forget to tell Patrick hi! Don’t skip dessert; the baklava is a must-try! Overall, Meze is a delightful spot for anyone craving delicious Greek cuisine with a modern flair. I can’t wait to return!

Well I didn't eat here, but was blown away by the esthetics, and feeling I hot when I walked into the bar. There was so much to take in. I think it would be a great place to go on a date. Had a couple of drinks. The vodka didn't taste like titos, so I am unsure if they forgot to give me the good stuff when I asked. I'd go back to try the food.

Service & food here 10/10 !

Came into eat tonight & was served by Kristina. She was very kind, knowledgeable & attentive. Between her and the support staff our drinks were never empty and our table always cleared of plates & cleaned.

The ambiance was amazing! With certain dishes being served on fire, a fire eating dancer roaming the floor, candles, dim lighting... who could ask for more !

We ordered the gyro meza, spanakopita, & lamb chop plate to share and the baclava for dessert. Everything was 10/10. The lemon sauce on the lamp chop plate was so good I could've drank it. The only critique was the baclava was slightly drier than we preferred but the flavor was still all there.

& Heard they also had a great happy hour ! We will definitely be coming back.

Delicious Moussaka

Meze Greek Fusion is an absolute *vibe*! From the moment you walk in, you're hit with an energetic atmosphere that feels both modern and cozy. The bartenders? Pure magic. They shake up cocktails that are as smooth as they are delicious--I highly recommend the Spicy Meze Margarita! The food is out-of-this-world good. The lamb chops were perfectly tender, and don't even get me started on the saganaki...flaming cheese at the table? Yes, please! Every dish was packed with flavor and plated beautifully. Whether you're here for a full dinner or just drinks, this spot does not disappoint. San Diego has a gem in Meze, and I can't wait to be back!

The Solomos was quite good! Limited selection of Greek wines, but they have a few good ones. The basics are covered!

My FAVORITE restaurant in San Diego!! It starts at the top with the owner Patrick, his amazing staff, including Jen, all the way down. The food is outstanding, atmosphere is an 11 out of 10 and ALWAYS an amazing time! Thank you all for always making the extra effort to make every experience there memorable!

I really like the the food and choices and presentation and servings … absolutely delish, meatballs, eggplant, salad, octopus, seafood, ouzo, anything traditional I have tried in here over the years and loved it. Of course Greek coffee to end, it is divine !

Comfortable room and good service. The restaurant is located across the street from our hotel. We visited for some quick appetizers. The vegetables were fresh and the fiery feta mac and cheese was tasty.

I came for Happy Hour and was blown away by the delicious food. The watermelon feta salad is delicious and the jalapeño hummus is spicy and delicious.

Absolutely amazing food, service and ambiance! Shout out to Carlos and Jen behind the bar! This is the most authentic Greek food I've had in the US. Well done! Highly recommend.

I popped into Mezé Greek fusion for a beer and a quick bite last Wednesday. I had a job nearby that finished up early and figured I'd reward myself with a cold beer. The beer was cold and delicious and Greek (Mythos) of course. My bartender, Jenny was great-witty and sarcastic, the way I like them. I had the calamari there and on Jenny's recommendation I got the Mac and Cheese to go-an excellent choice. I guess I'll go back for more one of these days .

Stopped in before going to the game a few days ago and had beers and apps. That Jenny is so funny! I won't even hold it against her for supporting the Padres. Everything was great, as it always is! The staff is always spectacular and the owner, I guess he's ok too. Can't wait to go back and try some of the cocktails to that were recommended to me last time. You must go there if you've never been!

We hosted our company dinner at Meze for ComicCon, and had a fantastic time! The space was perfect for our 40 guests, and the service was amazing. The staff were very attentive, and the food delicious! Loved the dancers, which was a bonus as we weren't expecting entertainment. I would absolutely hold another dinner here.

I recently had an amazing dining experience at Meze Greek Fusion in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. I was there with two friends who live in the area, and it was the perfect spot for us to hang out and enjoy a great meal. I ordered the Gyro platter, which was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We started with pita bread and hummus as an appetizer, and it was fresh and tasty. We chose to sit outside on the patio, right on the street, which allowed us to soak in the lively atmosphere of the city as we ate. The combination of fantastic food, great company, and the vibrant surroundings made it a memorable evening. I would highly recommend Meze Greek Fusion to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in San Diego!

This place was fast before a Padres game, we got 4 appetizers and drinks specials and it was awesome! Food reminded me of Greece. Priced great too. We will be back.

We all had a blast with our friends at Meze and a huge part of it was because of our server Jen! She was so friendly and we all had a few laughs.

The food was great, fantastic atmosphere and great people!

My friend recommended this place downtown and we had such a great time!

There was a magician going from table to table to do fun tricks that made the experience all the more better.

Food was delectable, the server forgot a couple of our items and had to mention it thinking that they just took longer to prepare.

The highlight was the cheese set on fire and was excellent!

The meat dolmades were probably my 2nd favorite item.

For sure will return on a slower night!

Atmosphere is great. Service was on point and the entire staff was nice. I had the lamb chops- Devine; my husband had the lamb shank- super tasty and tender. Very good and highly recommend!!!

Fantastic food, staff and ambience.

Really wonderful creations well executed Staff is just awesome. I recommend the Ouzo Shrimp Fettuccine. Gyros are also solid!
